Saturday news

-My Dad is doing much better. He ended up having another stint put in his heart. He had an 80-90% blockage in his artery right behind a stint he had put in during his visit to the hospital in January. He is home and doing fine now. Thank you for the prayers for him!

-Today we are having a birthday party for Ethan. He is super excited! His birthday is on Monday, but we are having a few of his friends over for a fun evening! I just have to fill a couple hundred water balloons before tonight!

-We went and met our neighbors last night. Kaitlyn helped me bake a bunch of cookies (with homemade icing on them!) yesterday. We walked to the four neighbors close to us and got to meet them. They were all really nice, and it was so fun to meet them! We are praying for great ministry opportunities!

-Mike B. came and visited us on Thursday. It was great to see him, and he was the first person from KC to come visit! It was fun getting to show him around and catch up on what's going on in his life. And we got to take him to one of our favorite pizza places ;-) !

-I am so thankful for Jarod! He is just an amazing husband and I love him so! Just needed to say that!

-We are excited to go to KC for Rock the Light. It's going to be like a mini retreat for us! The kids will be having a ball at the farm and we get to spend time together with friends in KC. We look forward to it!

-Next weekend we are going to Joplin for the day. OCC is having an alumni soccer game! Jarod is going to play in it! They are providing dinner at 4:30 and then the game after that. I think the kids will get a kick out of seeing daddy play soccer! I'll take pictures for you all to see!
