What a crazy but great weekend! Jarod and I decided this was the weekend for our garage sale. Our garage was sitting full of stuff, so we worked hard and got the sale done. We were very pleased with how it went and got most of our big items sold! We just had to get up early to do the actual sale! Last night after we picked up Ethan from school, we headed out to run some errands, and then we went to a birthday party for our friends daughter, Emma. She is turning 4, and she was having her birthday party at Incredible Pizza (Chuck E Cheese on steroids!!). The kids had a blast and Ethan left the party saying "This is the best night ever!." Well it was a good night! :-) It was good to be with some old friends and have fun together as a family! Here's a couple of pics from that:

Today we finished up our garage sale and got ready to head to Joplin for the evening. OCC was having an alumni soccer game! The "old guy team" played the club team from OCC (since OCC isn't having soccer this year they have a club team). It was so much fun! A lot of students came out to watch, and it was competitive and fun at the same time. The old guys actually gave the young ones a run for their money. It was tied 3-3 at the end and went into a shootout. Jarod got to shoot one of the shots for that and he made it! The old guy team ended up winning! It was fun to catch up with some friends we haven't seen in years and to see some of the college kids we know too. Jarod did a great job, and he was only a little sore! He's actually joining an over 30 yr. team in Broken Arrow and his first game is tomorrow! Here's some pictures from today:
