Hello!

Okay, so I have a blog now! I wasn't going to have one, but I thought this might be a good way to stay in touch with family and friends and to collect my thoughts! My first big hurdle with this thing was to come up with a name. I'm not very creative, and everything I thought of was either cheesy or not me! So I came up with Dody's Blog. It's a nickname that my Grandma used to call me and one that my brother still uses! I'm not sure where it came from, but I've always liked it. It sure beats other nicknames I had as a kid- thank you Matt and Adam!
My next hurdle is to figure out what to write about. I'm a very private person and kind of quiet, in case you haven't noticed! It doesn't mean I don't have things to say :-). Also, if you're going to read this blog, then you have to know that I can't write without showing and telling of my love and thankfulness for my Savior. Jesus is everything to me and I'm not afraid or ashamed to say it. There is not a part of my life that is not affected by my love for Him. So to know me is to know that I serve a great and might King and my life is not my own- it belongs to Him.
