T-minus 5 days.....

Well, we're in the home stretch! Last Sunday evening we had the dedication and open house for the new building at church. It was a great evening! Our preacher, Rob, spoke for about 20 minutes. He told the history of Northside and how the church has grown and expanded over the years, and he recognized the people who have been heavily involved with the new building. After that everyone was welcome to walk around and see the building and parents were encouraged to go through the preschool wing and find their kids new classrooms. It was very great to see and feel the excitement in the air that night. Afterwards we got to go eat some yummy food with some friends.
It's still a crazy week as the staff is trying to get moved in and oversee all the last minute details. It's been stressful for them so keep them in your prayers this week. They have to move all of their offices, the entire preschool, and all the sound equipment to the new building this weekend. Sunday will be so great as we have our first worship service in the new building. It's exciting not b/c of all the new gadgets and such, but it's exciting b/c of the possibility to better reach the community for Christ b/c we have the room to now. We'll let you know how the first service goes! Here's a picture of the outside of the new building. I will put pictures of the inside up when it's all done.
