Our First Spring break!

Well our first official spring break is over! Ethan was out of school this week and will again start school tomorrow! It was a great week! The kids went to Grandma and Grandpa's on the farm Tuesday through Saturday. They were so excited to go and they were really excited to see Ali who is temporarily living at the farm. (we will bring her here when we buy a house) Jarod and I enjoyed a couple days kid free- we painted at church, ran errands, went to a late movie(Twilight!), and got to visit with friends from KC. It's always great to have that time with just Jarod- I kind of like spending time with him!
I also got to go to KC and visit family and friends. It was a great visit and I got to spend time with people I love dearly! I got to spend time with some close friends and meet a sweet baby girl! It's always encouraging and just fun to spend time with these ladies! They are the friends that I am so thankful to have met and I am so blessed by their friendships! I also got to see my family for a little while. I love my family- even though we are not a picture perfect family, we are family and I love them!
After picking up the kids from the farm and driving for 6 hours that day, we arrived home! Jarod had dinner cooking and was so happy to see us! I love that moment when we are back together as a family again! The kids were happy to see Jarod and Kaitlyn hugged and loved on her Daddy! This is the family I prayed for and dreamed about as a young girl, and I am so thankful for them!
Now to get back into a routine again.....
